What is UH Online?
UH Online refers to courses that are advertised as online at the point you apply. These programmes are designed to be taught, delivered and assessed fully online.
ℹ️ UH Online does not include campus‑based courses that have been temporarily delivered wholly or partly online due to circumstances.
UH Online postgraduate tuition fees
Your tuition fees depend on the number of credits (modules) you study during the academic year.
Paying your fees in full
You can choose to pay 100% of your tuition fee per module (or the full course fee) before registration.
Full payment deadlines by module start month:
- September 2025 start: pay by 1 November 2025
- November 2025 start: pay by 9 January 2026
- January 2026 start: pay by 6 March 2026
- March 2026 start: pay by 16 May 2026
- May 2026 start: pay by 11 July 2026
- July 2026 start: pay by 5 September 2026
Tuition fee instalment plans
You may be able to pay your per‑module fee by instalments. The number of instalments available depends on your module start month.
Instalment options
- Four instalments (25% each)
- Three instalments (50%, then two payments of 25%)
- Two instalments (75%, then 25%)
Instalment due dates vary by start month and are set at the beginning of your module.
Where possible, instalment plans are set up using our recurring card payment system, which automatically collects payments and emails receipts to you.
For UH Online postgraduate students, the amount of tuition fees you need to pay depends on the number of credits (modules) you are studying this year .

ℹ️ Instalment plans are set up using recurring card payments, allowing instalments to be collected automatically and receipts emailed to you. A new plan must be set up for each module and start month, and this is the student’s responsibility. If an instalment plan is breached, a new plan will not be offered.
You will need:
- your Student ID number
- a valid UK debit or credit card
Instalment plans can be set up via the Tuition Fee Payment (UH Online) option on the online payment portal.
