Box of Broadcasts (BoB)
The University subscribes to Box of Broadcasts (BoB), an online TV and radio service for education.
UK-based Herts students and staff can use BoB to watch and request recordings of TV and radio programmes. BoB also provides an archive of previously recorded programmes covering a wide range of subjects.
You can also:
- create and save playlists
- create clips from programmes
- share programmes, playlists and clips with other students and staff
- embed links to programmes or clips in teaching materials
How to access Box of Broadcasts
- Go to Box of Broadcasts (BoB).
- Select Log in.
- Select Log in using your University of Hertfordshire account.
BoB is only available to students and staff based in the UK
Save programmes, clips and playlists
Use My BoB to save your favourites, playlists and clips.
In Preferences, enter your University of Hertfordshire email address.
Using BoB for teaching
Staff can create clips and playlists, share content with students and embed content into modules.
Academic staff can also see the Guided Learner Journey for guidance on using BoB in teaching.
