Uno, the University's bus company runs local buses throughout Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and into North London, with fast, direct links to and from the University of Hertfordshire.

You must have a valid ticket before boarding the additional buses – you can buy your ticket through the Uno bus app.
Bus Tickets
Uno bus tickets can be purchased online and via the Uno bus app and then you can just scan and ride.
There is currently a £2 fare cap in place across the UK Bus network. This is funded by the Government and is due to change after the 31 December 2024. It is likely that this will cease and the network will return to normal fares or that the fare cap will be increased to £2.40. The average normal fare for the network is between £4 to £5 a day return.
Bus Passes
Uno offers a range of daily, weekly, monthly and annual bus passes at discounted rates for University of Hertfordshire staff and students, passes can be purchased with the Uno bus and Intalink apps.
Travel between campuses
A free shuttle bus service operates regularly throughout the day between Angerlands Park and Ride site, and the College Lane and de Havilland campuses. Please remember to show your UH ID card or mobile ID pass to the driver.

If you have paid for a journey that you feel should have been free please take a photo of the ticket you have been issued and email it to our customer services team. Any reimbursement for trips made is normally given in free travel vouchers.
