Uno, the University's bus company runs local buses throughout Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and into North London, with fast, direct links to and from the University of Hertfordshire.

If you are using additional or busy services, you must have a valid ticket before boarding. You can buy tickets in advance using the Uno buses app.

You can buy Uno bus tickets:

- Using the Uno buses app
- On the bus using contactless or cash
Using the app allows you to scan your ticket when boarding for a quicker journey.
Discounted day tickets are available for students through the Uno buses app.
Current fares
Zone 1 -£2 (increasing to £2.50 from 1 July 2026)
Includes: St Albans, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City
Zone 1 and 2 -£3 (Increasing to £3.50 from 1 July 2026)

Travel between campuses
A free shuttle bus runs between:
- Angerlands Park and Ride
- College Lane campus
- de Havilland campus
The service operates regularly during term time throughout the day.
How to use the shuttle
You must show one of the following to the driver:
- Your UH ID card
- Your mobile ID pass
