The University of Hertfordshire continues to operate as normal although some buildings have been closed. We have enhanced our cleaning regimes and additional hand sanitisers and public health information posters have been installed at key areas across the University.
A group of key University staff members are meeting regularly, coordinating all relevant activities and liaising with Public Health England to ensure our community has all the support and information it needs.
To protect yourself and others from the spread of COVID-19, remember to wash your hands thoroughly using lots of soap and hot water, cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze, use anti-bacterial gel or wipes, and avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illnesses.
During this time, we want to remind everyone that all members of our community should be treated with kindness, tolerance and respect and that anything to the contrary is taken very seriously.
If you have witnessed or experienced an incident that you feel uncomfortable with you can report these directly to the Office of the Dean of Students. If you are worried about someone else, you can also report this using these forms. These online forms enable staff and students to report anonymously or seek advice from an advisor.
You can keep up to date with the University’s actions and frequently asked questions on our website.
For the latest updates and health advice, visit the Public Health England website. If you are concerned about your health, experience any symptoms, or come into contact with anyone who may have Covid-19, remember to call NHS 111 immediately.
