What is a Dignity and Respect Advisor?
Dignity and Respect Advisors are volunteer members of staff from across the University who are specially trained to undertake the role. They can provide impartial and confidential guidance and signposting to any registered students or staff you may have witnessed or experienced harassment or bullying.
Dignity and Respect Adviers can listen to what has happened and help and support individuals to make informed choices to deal with particular issues appropriately and as quickly as possible.
How can I speak with a Dignity and Respect Advisor?
If you would like to speak to a Dignity and Respect Advisor, please contact the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Office, edi@herts.ac.uk and a D & R Advisor will be allocated to you.
Please note speaking with a D & R Adviser is simply a conversation. It is not necessarily the start of any formal process. It is an opportunity to voice your concerns in a supportive and non judgemental space and to receive signposting and guidance.
