Which areas have controlled access?
Some university facilities use electronic door access systems. These include:
- Labs
- Workshops
Studios - Media suites
How do I get access to controlled areas?
Your University ID card must be programmed before you can enter controlled access areas.
In most cases, your School will notify the University of your access requirements before your course starts.
- New students are normally given access when they register.
- Returning students normally have their access renewed before they return to study.
