Educational Gain Survey privacy statement
The Educational Gain Survey asks how you feel your skills have developed through your University experience.
Taking part is voluntary. Your responses will be kept confidential and used only in relation to the Educational Gain Survey.
About the Educational Gain Survey
The survey is designed to understand how you feel your skills have developed through your University experience.
It also gives you an opportunity to reflect on your personal development and how far you have come.
The results will form part of the University and Students’ Union Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) submissions, which are required of all universities.
We strongly encourage you to take part, but participation is voluntary and you can stop at any point.
How your survey responses will be used
The University will collate responses to the survey.
You will only be asked how you feel your University experience has supported your skills and personal development.
Your responses will only be used in relation to the Educational Gain Survey.
The University may publish the survey results internally. Results will not be published internally or externally in a way that could identify you.
How we protect your information
The University is committed to protecting your personal information and being clear about the information we hold about you and how we use it.
Your participation and individual survey responses will be kept strictly confidential by all parties involved.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018.
