Vaccination clinic details
UH Occupational Health and the Immunisation Team at Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust are running free vaccination clinics for University of Hertfordshire students.
Dates and times 2026
- Thursday 23 July: 12.00pm to 5.00pm
- Thursday 30 July: All day
- Thursday 6 August: 8.30am to 2.00pm and 3.00pm to 5.00pm
- Thursday 20 August: All day

Do I need an appointment?
- No. This is a walk-in clinic.
- If you were vaccinated outside the UK, please bring your vaccination record where possible.
- If vaccination records are not available, the immunisation team may recommend restarting your vaccination programme.
Who can attend?
The clinics are open to all University of Hertfordshire students, including international students.
What vaccinations are available?
Available vaccinations include MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella), DPT (Diptheria, Perussis and Tetanus), MenACWY (Meningococcal ACWY) and HPV (Human Papillomavirus). See below for details:
MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella)
The MMR vaccine protects against measles, mumps and rubella.
Measles spreads easily in shared environments such as universities and can sometimes cause serious illness.
If you are unsure whether you have received two doses of the MMR vaccine, check with your GP or bring your vaccination record to the clinic.

DPT (Diphtheria, Pertussis and Tetanus)
The DPT vaccine helps protect against:
The vaccine is recommended for people who missed earlier vaccinations or need additional protection.

MenACWY (Meningococcal ACWY)
The MenACWY vaccine helps protect against meningitis and sepsis.
Meningitis can spread quickly in university settings, making this vaccine particularly important for students.
If you missed the vaccine at school, you may still be eligible to receive it.

Getting free NHS meningococcal B (MenB) vaccinations
HPV (Human Papillomavirus)
The HPV vaccine helps reduce the risk of HPV-related cancers and genital warts.
If you missed your HPV vaccination when younger, the clinic team can advise whether you are eligible.
