What is the Award?
Whether it is clubs and societies, volunteering, part time work or an international experience – if you are doing something outside of your course which contributes to your employability, the Go Herts Award is perfect for you.
The University of Hertfordshire is committed to providing experiences that can transform lives through a range of extra-curricular opportunities, such as voluntary work, research and enterprise initiatives, community engagement and work experience opportunities. All these activities will help you to develop the university’s graduate attributes which extend beyond your academic studies giving you the knowledge, skills and attributes which equip you for life in a complex and rapidly changing world.
The Go Herts Award celebrates University of Hertfordshire's student's engagement with these opportunities, and engagement in extra-curricular activities outside of the assessed part of your degree which contribute to your employability, from either on or off campus.
