Ready to have your say in the 4 July UK General Election? Here's what you need to know.

On Thursday 4 July 2024, the UK will be voting in the General Election. Make sure you know how to cast your vote, whether in person or online.

The deadline for registering to vote is Tuesday 18th June (23:59)

Once you’ve registered to vote in the UK general election, you will need to cast your ballot on Thursday 4 July 2024, arrange to vote by post, or assign someone to vote for you by proxy. Full details on how to do this are available on gov.uk

Remember you will need photo ID to vote or to act as someone else's proxy. Read the rules on photo ID on the government website.

If you are voting in person, the address of your polling station will be printed on your polling card. You can also check this location by typing your postcode in on the  Where do I vote website.
