Leaving the ambassador scheme

Everything you need to know about leaving the student ambassador scheme

You can request to leave the ambassador scheme by emailing us at ambassadors@herts.ac.uk. We can also temporarily freeze your account (placement, study abroad and dormant students only).

If you are graduating from Herts we request that you also email to notify us.

  • Systems - we will deactivate your Dashboard profile on the last working day before the date you provided in the resignation form. Once this is done you will receive an automated email from Dashboard. Please ensure you have submitted any timesheets and saved any information needed from Dashboard before this date
  • References - the ambassadors team can provide a reference for you for any future jobs. Simply ask your employer to contact the email at ambassadors@herts.ac.uk, and we will be happy to support! If you need a personal reference, please contact your School of Study.
  • Alumni portal - we'd also love you to stay connected and involved with Herts after you graduate. Whether you are exploring career options, extending your learning, or starting a business, we can help you. You can also access a fantastic range of benefits and discounts. Sign up to the Alumni Portal to keep in touch!
  • Alumni ambassadors - you can also volunteer as an alumni ambassador, staying involved in a way that best suits you. You could feature as an alumni case study, speak at a career event, or mentor a current student. Visit our alumni ambassador hub to find out more and sign up via the alumni portal.
