What can the grant be used for?
Santander is offering 10 exclusive £1,000 awards to University of Hertfordshire students through the Brighter Futures Grants programme.
You can use the grant for anything that supports your studies or wellbeing, including:
- Technology and equipment
- Textbooks and study materials
- Improvements to your study space
- Living costs
- Wellbeing support
Who can apply?
All University of Hertfordshire students can enter, including:
- Undergraduate students
- Postgraduate students
- Full-time students
- Part-time students
How do I enter
Entry period: 5 October 2026 to 3 December 2026.
Entering is quick and easy:
- Create a free account on Santander Open Academy. You must create a new account rather than use your Herts login.
- Open the confirmation email and select the verification link.
- Sign in and select Get Started.
- Choose University of Hertfordshire and submit your entry.
