Sexual health support on campus

You can collect the following free items from the Welcome Desks on both campuses:

  • Condoms
  • Chlamydia and gonorrhoea self-test kits
    • Also available at The Oval, College Lane
  • Pregnancy tests (available on request)

You can also access:

  • On-campus sexual health clinics throughout the year
  • Information stalls and awareness events

Sexual health services near campus

Hatfield Sexual Health Clinic (Queensway)

Located in Hatfield town centre.

Services include:

  • STI testing
  • Contraception
  • Emergency contraception
  • Pregnancy testing
  • PEP (HIV prevention treatment)

Online sexual health services

You can order the following free of charge through SH24:

  • Emergency contraceptive pills
  • STI self-test kits
  • Some sexual health treatments

Local sexual health support

Your GP or Practice Nurse

Your GP surgery can provide:

  • Contraceptive pills
  • Injectable contraception
  • Barrier methods
  • Long-acting contraception, including implants and coils

Your local pharmacy

Many pharmacies provide emergency contraception.

Students under 25 may be eligible for free emergency contraception at selected pharmacies in Hertfordshire.
