🎓 Are you a sponsored student?
You are a sponsored student if:
- Your employer, government, embassy, or official organisation is paying your tuition fees directly to the University.
⚠️ A family member or friend is not classed as a sponsor.
✅ How to confirm your sponsorship
Step 1 – Get sponsor confirmation
Ask your sponsor to provide ONE of the following:
- A completed sponsorship agreement form, or
- A sponsorship letter on official company or organisation letterhead
The letter must confirm:
- Your full name
- Your student ID (if available)
- The amount being paid
- Who to invoice
- Contact details
Step 2 – Submit at enrolment
Your sponsorship confirmation must be submitted at enrolment.
Step 3 – 14-day deadline
If not submitted at enrolment:
- You must submit it within 14 days of enrolment, or
- You will be required to pay your tuition fees yourself under the University's 30-day payment terms.
⚠️ Sponsors cannot pay tuition fees in instalments.
❓ What if my sponsor is late?
If confirmation is not received within 14 days:
- You will become responsible for paying the tuition fees.
- Standard payment deadlines will apply.
ℹ️ If you are unsure, contact the Sponsored Student Team as soon as possible.
📌 Important Information
- Sponsored students are not eligible for the Graduate Scholarship.
- A family member or personal loan does not count as official sponsorship.
- Sponsors must pay the full amount in one payment (no instalments).

If your sponsor is:

- An embassy
- An international employer
Make sure they understand:
- Payment must follow University invoicing processes
