Are you a Refugee student?

Our aim is to provide support and guidance to make your time at university as stress free and successful as possible. If you are a confirmed Refugee student with 'Home' fee status, studying a full-time undergraduate degree, and with one of immigration status' listed below, you will have access to support which can include bursaries and other forms of financial and pastoral help. Support is subject to confirmation of eligible status via the Student Immigration Team.

Eligible immigration status':

  • Refugee status
  • Humanitarian Protection
  • Section 67 leave
  • Calais leave to remain
  • Leave granted under the Afghan Relocations and Assistance Policy or the Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme
  • Leave granted under the Ukraine schemes (including relevant family members).

  • Personalised support – including a dedicated point of contact and individual advice and guidance.

  • Financial support – including a bursary worth £1000 per year of undergraduate study (subject to eligibility checks), and access to the Student Opportunity Fund, to support you with experiences to benefit your studies and future career.

  • Opportunities, events and support available to you as a Student Success Student.
