Persons granted leave under the Ukrainian schemes are now able to apply for ‘home’ fees, even if you paid ‘overseas’ fees for a previous year of the same course.

To be eligible for ‘home’ fees you now just need to have one of the following types of leave on the first day of the academic year you are paying fees for:

  • The Ukrainian Extension Scheme
  • Ukraine Family Scheme
  • Ukrainian Sponsorship Scheme.

If you need advice on any of the above Visa schemes, please contact SITadvice@herts.ac.uk who will be able to provide further information.

The UK government have extended access to Student Finance, maintenance, and tuition fee loan, for those who are granted permission to stay in the UK under one of the three schemes for Ukrainians. This is for both continuing and new students.
