During your studies the Student Immigration Team will contact you to ensure we hold your correct immigration details.
If your visa expires during your studies you will need to provide us with evidence that you have submitted an in time visa application to enable you to remain registered as a student. We may request a consent form to contact UKVI for updates on your visa application.
There may be circumstances were you would like the Universtiy to contact UKVI on your behalf to ask questions about your immigration status, we would need you complete a consent form to enable us to do this.
How to complete the UKVI consent form:
1. Complete all sections of the UKVI consent form
2. Return the completed form to SIT (sitcompliance@herts.ac.uk)
Important information:
Requests made to UKVI can take up to 5 working days for a response to be recieved, SIT will inform you as soon as we have received a response.
