Maintenance weekends
Please make a note of the following dates which have been agreed in consultation with staff from across the University
Please work on the basis that there will be no access to any IT services during these weekends as you plan activities, however, prior to each weekend Library and Computing Services will advise on the anticipated impact of the work being undertaken.
Further details on works taking place on the following dates will be made available in due course.
28 February - 3 March 2025
Please plan ahead as access to some university systems will be temporarily unavailable from 16.00 Friday 28 February to 10.00 Monday 3 March while essential upgrade works take place. These upgrades are critical for maintaining the security and efficient operation of the databases that underpin many of our business operations.
Please note how you will be affected and plan ahead as access to the following student and staff facing services will be temporarily unavailable while works take place:
- personalised content on StudyNet such as your timetable, learning dashboard, personal details and course lists.
- Please note that you can continue to access StudyNet and the Online Library at studynet.herts.ac.uk . You can submit assignments and access your module sites and course content via a link on the StudyNet homepage to your Canvas dashboard or via the Canvas app
- staff module planner and marker allocation and moderation tools used by academic staff.
We’re sorry for any inconvenience arising from this essential work. For the latest updates please check status.herts.ac.uk.
