These dates apply to all Home and International Undergraduate and Postgraduate students studying full time or part time.
Please note these dates do not apply to short courses, UH Online (distance learning) students or Research students.
Semester A
If you started or returned to your course in Semester A (September/October 2023) and are formally registered on your course on the dates listed below you will be liable for the following:

| 9th October 2023 | 25% of tuition fees | 65% of tuition fees |
| 8th January 2024 | 50% of tuition fees | 100% of tuition fees |

If your course officially starts on 27 September 2023, you will become liable for 25%/65% of your full tuition fees on 9 October 2023. If you register late on or after 9 October 2023 you will immediately become liable for 25%/65% of your full tuition fees.
The fee liability dates for international students set out in the table above apply only to those international students who commenced their programme of study on or after the 2023/24 academic year. Any international students who commenced their programme of study before the 2023/24 academic year will follow the Home Amount Due in the table above.
Semester B
If you started or returned to your course in Semester B (January 2024) and are formally registered on your course on the dates listed below you will be liable for the following:

| 5th February 2024 | 25% of tuition fees | 65% of tuition fees |

If your course officially starts on January 2024, you will become liable for 25%/65% of your full tuition fees on 6 February 2024. If you register late on or after 5 February 2024 you will immediately become liable for 25%/65% of your full tuition fees
The fee liability dates for international students set out in the table above apply only to those international students who commenced their programme of study on or after the 2023/24 academic year. Any international students who commenced their programme of study before the 2023/24 academic year will follow the Home Amount Due in the table above.
Full payment discount
The University offers a Full Payment Discount of £500 (per academic year of study) to international students studying a full-time course, who pay their tuition fees in full by:
• 9th October 2023 for Semester A entry
• 5th February 2024 for Semester B entry
Funds must have been received by the University, cleared, and include any outstanding fees for PreSessional/Preparatory courses. Students who pay by the three instalments option will not be eligible for the Full Payment Discount of £500.
