- Self-funding undergraduate students (including foundation and initial year)

Semester A (September 2025 starters)
Payment options
You can either:
- Pay in full, or
- Pay in instalments
Option 1: Full payment

Important exceptions
- Home undergraduate students who are unable to secure a Tuition Fee Loan due to previous study must pay 25% before registration (as set out in paragraph 2.5 of the Fees and Finance Policy 2025/26)
- Home undergraduate students who are blocked by the Student Loans Company or unable to secure a Tuition Fee Loan should follow the Home student instalment schedule (Option 2).
Semester B (January 2026 starters)
Payment options
You can either:
- Pay in full, or
- Pay in instalments
This is only applicable for students who start in Semester B (January 2026).

Important exceptions
- Home undergraduate students who are unable to secure a Tuition Fee Loan due to previous study must pay 25% before registration
- Home undergraduate students who are blocked by the Student Loans Company or unable to secure a Tuition Fee Loan should follow the Home student instalment schedule (Option 2).
Important note for international students
The instalment dates above apply to students who started their course in the 2025–2026 academic year.
If you started before this, your original payment schedule still applies.
Full payment discount
International students studying a full-time course can receive a £1,000 discount per academic year if they pay their tuition fees in full by:
- 6 October 2025 for Semester A entry
- 2 February 2026 for Semester B entry
To qualify:
- Payment must be received and cleared by the University by the deadline
- Any outstanding fees for Pre-Sessional or Preparatory courses must also be paid
Students paying by instalments are not eligible.
Important
- If you are paying via Flywire or Convera, allow enough time for funds to clear.
- You may not qualify for the discount if payment is made on the deadline date.
