The University offers a variety of ways in which you can pay your Tuition Fees.
- This information is for all self-funding undergraduate (including foundation and initial year) students and all postgraduate students.
- These options do not apply to short courses, UH Online (distance learning) students or Research students (Doctoral College).
Self-Funding Undergraduate and all Postgraduate* Semester A Students
This is only applicable for students who started in Semester A (September 2025) or who originally started their programme in September.
Option 1 - Full Payment

2 With the exception of home undergraduate students who are [blocked by the Student Loan Company/unable to secure a Tuition Fee Loan], who will
have no further fee liability on this date.
Self-Funding Undergraduate and all Postgraduate* Semester B Students
This is only applicable for students who started in Semester B (January 2026) or who originally started their programme in January.

The fee liability dates for international students set out in the table above apply only to those international students who commenced their programme of study on or after the 2025/2026 academic year. Any international students who commenced their programme of study before the 2025/2026 academic year will remain on the same fee liability dates as applied when they commenced their studies.
Full payment discount
The University offers a Full Payment Discount of £1000 (per academic year of study) to international students studying a full-time course, who pay their tuition fees in full by:
- 6th October 2025 for Semester A entry
- 2nd February 2026 for Semester B entry
Funds must have been received by the University, cleared, and include any outstanding fees for PreSessional/Preparatory courses. Students who pay by the three instalments option will not be eligible for the Full Payment Discount of £1000.
