Is it too late to apply for Student Finance?
No, it's not too late to apply.
However, at this time of year, Student Finance applications can take 6 to 8 weeks to process. This means your funding may not be in place before the start of term.
You should make sure you have an alternative way to cover your living costs until your funding is received.
How do I apply for funding?
The quickest way to apply is online through Student Finance.
- Visit the Student Finance login page.
- Select Create an Account.
- Follow the application process.
Can I register if my funding application is still being processed?
Yes, you can still register.
However, if your funding application is refused for any reason, you will be responsible for paying any tuition fees you become liable for.
If your application has not been approved before registration, speak to the Student Funding and Financial Support team during registration
What if I don't recieve my funding in time for my first accommodation payment?
If you are living in University accommodation and your maintenance loan has not been paid by the start of the academic year, you will need to make alternative arrangements to pay your accommodation fees.
