How do I book a UKVCAS appointment?
If you need an appointment, you must book one at a UKVCAS Service Point. You can only attend a Service Point if you have an appointment.

Plan ahead when booking your appointment, particularly during busy periods.
What do I need to take to my UKVCAS appointment?
Take:
- your passport or travel document
- a printed copy of your appointment confirmation with the QR code
- any supporting documents you have not already uploaded online.
Check which supporting documents you need for your Student visa application. The documents you need will depend on your circumstances.
What happens at my biometric appointment?
At your appointment, you will provide your biometric information, including:
- your fingerprints
- a photograph.
If you have not already uploaded your supporting documents online, you can have them scanned at your UKVCAS appointment.
Can I travel while waiting for my Student visa decision?
Do not travel outside the UK while you are waiting for a decision on your application.
If your Student visa application is successful, you will receive an eVisa. Your decision email or letter will tell you how to access it.
