Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) Collection from the University

Arrange to collect a BRP permit that has been delivered to the University.

Book an appointment to collect your BRP

**PLEASE NOTE** We have been informed by the Home Office that there are delays in the production of Biometric Residence Permits (BRP) due to technical problems transferring biometric data. All students affected should receive an email from the Home Office advising them of the delay.

Follow the instructions below if we have emailed you to tell you that your BRP has been delivered to the University.

Even if you have received notification from the courier TNT that your BRP has been delivered to the University that doesn’t mean you can collect it straight away.

It takes time to process a BRP before we can make it available for collection.  When it is ready you will be sent an email with a link to book an appointment to collect itPlease do not email asking if your BRP is ready to collect as this only slows down the processing.

The date you choose to collect must be after you have completed any period of quarantine you have to do.

You must book an appointment to collect your BRP card as there are restrictions on the number of people allowed in the hubs at the same time and we might not be able to issue your BRP card without a booked appointment. (Please note that future appointments will be added regularly, so please check back another time if you cannot find a suitable appointment). If you have to self-isolate when you arrive in the UK you may collect your card after 10 days.

You are required to show your entry stamp in your passport when you collect your BRP.  If you attempt to collect your BRP during your quarantine period, you are putting others at risk and we will refuse to issue your card. You could face a £1,000 Government fine.
