What is the Code of Conduct, where do I find it?

What is the Code of Conduct?

  • The Code of Conduct applies to all students living in University accommodation.
  • It is part of your licence agreement—you are required to follow it.
  • A copy of the Code is displayed in your flat and ncluded in your student handbook
  • It explains examples of offences and the penalties for breaking the rules.

I’ve been asked to attend a meeting – what happens next?

  • You will be contacted with an appointment for an investigatory meeting.
  • The meeting is usually with a Residence Life Officer in the Residence Life and Safeguarding office.
  • Meetings typically last around 30 minutes.

I can't attend my appointment

  • If you have a lecture, exam, or other conflict, contact the Residence Life Officer who invited you before the meeting.
  • It is usually possible to reschedule your appointment.
