What is the Code of Conduct?
- The Code of Conduct applies to all students living in University accommodation.
- It is part of your licence agreement—you are required to follow it.
- A copy of the Code is displayed in your flat and ncluded in your student handbook
- It explains examples of offences and the penalties for breaking the rules.
I’ve been asked to attend a meeting – what happens next?
- You will be contacted with an appointment for an investigatory meeting.
- The meeting is usually with a Residence Life Officer in the Residence Life and Safeguarding office.
- Meetings typically last around 30 minutes.

I can't attend my appointment
- If you have a lecture, exam, or other conflict, contact the Residence Life Officer who invited you before the meeting.
- It is usually possible to reschedule your appointment.
