What is the Code of Conduct?
The Code of Conduct applies to all residents in University accommodation and forms part of your licence agreement. If you live in Halls of Residence, you are required to comply with this code.
A copy of the Code of Conduct is displayed in your flat and is also in your handbook, detailing examples of offences and the penalties they carry.
I've been asked to attend a meeting: What happens next?
If you have been asked to attend an investigatory meeting, you will be contacted with an appointment to attend a meeting with one of your Residence Life Officers. This will usually take place in the Residence Life and Safeguarding team Office and will last approximately 30 minutes. Please note, it is important that you attend this meeting.
I can't attend my appointment
If you have a lecture or exam and cannot attend your meeting, you must contact the Residence Life Officer who has written to you, in advance to explain this. It is usually possible for appointments to be re-arranged.
Need more support?
If you have any questions regarding the Code of Conduct please contact the Residence Life and Safeguarding Team.
