Where can I find my timetable?
If you are enrolled in a Foundation, First-year Business, Pre-Masters or Pre-Sessional English course, your timetable is available on Axis: https://axis.navitas.com/
If you are enrolled in an Integrated Course, you will have two timetables. The timetable for the modules you are registered is available via the StudyNet homepage. The timetable for your integrated tutorials is available via the Axis portal: https://axis.navitas.com/.
When will my timetable be available?
If you are a new student, you will receive your timetable during the enrolment/registration session you have been invited to. You will also be provided with your Induction Timetable at this stage.
If you are a returning student, your timetable will be available 72 hours after the College Services have processed your re-enrolment questionnaire (three working days – these do not include Saturday and Sunday).
What to do if I believe my timetable is incorrect?
If you are enrolled in a Foundation, First-year Business, Pre-Masters course, you should have 4 modules timetabled. Should you have less than 4 modules allocated, please contact the Academic Services Team on 01707 285282 or ask@hic.herts.ac.uk
If you are a returning student, it can take up to 72 hours for your timetable to be completed and all activities to be allocated.
What do I do if my tutorial group is incorrect or not visible?
HIC Integrated Tutorial groups are still being finalised for 2024/25 and will be confirmed shortly. The first sessions are expected to take place online.
Can I make changes to my timetable?
Your timetable has been designed to provide you with a productive and enjoyable time on campus as well as to comply with UKVI regulations.
We understand that some students have personal needs – if a module has multiple groups, there may be circumstances in which changes could be considered.
Please contact the Academic Services Team on 01707 285282 or ask@hic.herts.ac.uk to discuss your needs.
Note that changes are restricted to the capacity of the room being used.
Will my timetable change?
While we try to keep changes to a minimum, your timetable can change throughout the semester. Most changes usually happen within the first weeks of start of the term.
We aim to make any changes as soon as possible, but this is not always possible. There may be times when we have to re-arrange a class at short notice i.e. if a member of staff is unwell or there is an issue with the room.
We will send you an email and/or a text message to let you know if anything changes, so please ensure that you keep your contact details up to date.
How often shall I check my timetable?
Your timetable is live so we recommend that you check it daily. Sometimes, we may need to amend the room or start time of your bookings.
We suggest that you bookmark the Axis page on your phone so that your timetable is always handy!
What should I do if I can’t see my timetable?
Please contact the Academic Services Team on 01707 285282 or ask@hic.herts.ac.uk if you are having issues accessing your timetable.
There are different reasons why you are unable to see the timetable, so it is important that you get in touch with the team as soon as possible.
How to contact HIC?
