Update your personal email address

Your personal email

  • You need to provide the personal email address that you want to use for receiving University emails. You can also set up a new email account to keep your University information in one box. 
  • Use a professional-looking email address based on your own name (eg Jane.Brown@gmail.com), rather than any nickname or other description you may choose to use socially or in other contexts, especially as you will use it to keep in touch with your personal tutor, lecturers, and potential employers.  

Your student record

  • Please ensure your personal contact details, including your preferred personal email address and mobile phone number are up to date on your student record so you can successfully receive information from the University. 
  • You can update your details by going to www.studentrecord.herts.ac.uk.  Enter your personal login details. Click your name in the top right corner to get to your profile and change your details.
