Improve your study skills with Library SkillUP
Library SkillUP is a free online Canvas module designed to help you improve your academic skills, save time, and build confidence in your assignments.
Created and tested by students, SkillUP provides practical guidance on:
- Referencing – learn how to reference correctly and avoid plagiarism.
- Finding information – search effectively for books, journals and other sources for your assignments.
- Academic reading – develop techniques to understand, organise and remember what you read.
- Evaluating sources – identify reliable, high-quality information and understand different source types.
- Academic writing – improve the structure, style and clarity of your assignments.
The module is split into short, easy-to-follow units with videos, quizzes and interactive activities. You can access it anytime through StudyNet or the Canvas app on any device.
