Male Student Peer Support Group

Men Peer Support Group

Do you want to create and maintain positive momentum in your life?  Discover support, belonging, and the power of peer support.

What is Momentum?

Momentum is a relaxed, drop-in support space for male students at the University of Hertfordshire.

Male students can:

  • Talk openly about what’s on their mind.
  • Share experiences with others who may relate.
  • Build confidence and resilience.
  • Connect with other students in a supportive environment.

There’s no need to book, no referral required, and no expectation to attend every week. You can come along whenever it suits you - whether that’s once, occasionally, or regularly.

You don’t need to be in crisis, receiving counselling, or going through a specific difficulty to attend. If you’d like a space to reflect, offload, or simply listen - you’re welcome.

Sessions are facilitated by a trained counsellor from Student Wellbeing.

Note: Peer support groups don’t replace medical professionals and counsellors.  They supplement the support you receive.

Please read the full FAQs of the group here.
