Struggling with how you’re feeling?
Many students feel stressed, anxious, lonely, or like they don’t fit in. Sometimes this can affect your studies.
You might also be dealing with things that feel harder to talk about, like:
- Feeling depressed
- Feeling paranoid or hearing voices
- Struggling with eating
- Feeling too anxious to leave your room
- Wanting to harm yourself
If any of this is affecting your wellbeing or your academic progress, you are not alone.
The University’s Mental Health & Therapeutic Support team is here to listen and support you.
Mental health advisory support service
Our mental health advisors can support you with your mental health difficulties by providing advice and coping strategies, offering practical support, and helping to arrange any study adjustments you may need. We can liaise with your tutors and help you access other services, including the NHS. Both short term and longer-term support is available based on your needs.
