What are the Vice-Chancellor's Awards?
The Vice-Chancellor’s Awards (VCAs) are the University of Hertfordshire’s annual celebration of staff who go above and beyond. These awards shine a spotlight on the amazing work done by people across the University.
The VCAs give us a chance to recognise the staff who make a real difference every day—whether they’re teaching, providing academic or technical support, carrying out groundbreaking research, or helping teams and students thrive. The awards highlight their stories, celebrate their achievements (big and small), and show appreciation for their dedication.
How can students make nominations?
Students can nominate staff for three of the award categories, so it’s a great opportunity to show your appreciation for someone who’s made a positive impact on your UH experience. Find out more at Vice-Chancellor's Awards - Home
