Viewing your payslips and P60s

This page will provide you with all the information you need to know about how to search, edit and download your payslips and P60s

View and download latest payslip

  1. Log into the University HR System at www.hr.herts.ac.uk
  2. to view/download a PDF file of your last two payslips, from your Dashboard > Latest payslips tile, click the relevant payslip - your payslip will download as a PDF file
  3. click the download link and a PDF of your payslip will open in a new web browser
  4. if required, you can save or print the PDF file.

Search, view and download older payslips

  1. Log into the University HR System at www.hr.herts.ac.uk
  2. the Latest Payslips tile displays your last 2 payslips. To view/download older payslips, from your Dashboard > Latest payslips tile, select View my Pay
  3.  if the required payslip is not in the list, enter a date range in the Start date and End date fields and click Search - all payslips for the selected date range display
  4. click to select the required payslip from the list – an interactive payslip opens
  5. click any item with a purple information icon beside it – more information will display
  6. to download the payslip, click the Download button - your payslip will download as a PDF file. Click the download link and a pdf of your payslip will open in a new web browser
  7. you can now save or print the PDF if required. When finished, close the browser window.

Set your payslips and P60s to be emailed to you

You can arrange for your Payslips and P60s to be emailed to you automatically so that you don’t have to log into the HR system to view your payslip. This will also ensure that your final payslip can be emailed to you when you leave the university

  1. Log into the University HR System at www.hr.herts.ac.uk
  2. to set up your payslip and P60 email preferences, from your Dashboard, go to the Utility menu (top right)
  3. select Settings and E-form preferences - the E-form preferences form will open
  4. ensure the Email payslip checkbox is ticked > enter an Email address eg your personal email address
  5. enter a Password for payslip > confirm your password the Confirm password field
  6. to have your P60 emailed to you, scroll down the form and ensure the Email P60 checkbox is ticked
  7. to use the same details as your Payslips, tick the Use the same email and password for P60s checkbox or enter a different email address and password > Save - all subsequent payslips and P60s will automatically be emailed to you.
