Who can use the Registration Portal?
This information is for new students only.
If you are studying with HIC, Pen Green, Mary Hare, USP, CPD Health or an Online Degree course, please contact your School Admin Hub.
When will I receive my welcome letter?
If you have firmly accepted an unconditional offer, your welcome letter will be available up to 40 days before your course start date.
We'll email you when your joining information is ready.
You can access it by:
- Following the link in your email, or
- Logging in to the Registration Portal using your student ID number

What's in my welcome letter?
Your welcome letter contains important information about starting your course, including:
- Your first session date, time and location
- Any pre-reading or course materials
- Information to help you prepare for your studies
If you cannot attend your first session, contact Ask Herts.
We also recommend downloading the Herts Mobile app, which includes campus maps to help you find your teaching rooms.
Where can I find my programme documents?
Your programme documents are available in the Registration Portal below your first session details.
These may include:
- Induction timetable
- Key contact information
- Pre-course activities
- Recommended reading
We also recommend completing the Getting Ready to Study at Herts online course before your studies begin.
