Why might I need a student letter?

A student letter can be used as proof of your student status for purposes such as employment, banking, accommodation or other official requests.

Request a student letter

If you are a full-time University of Hertfordshire student and have no outstanding debt to the University, you can request a letter using the express letter service:

Right to work evidence

The University cannot provide a letter confirming your eligibility to work in the UK.

Employers are responsible for carrying out their own right-to-work checks. As part of this process, they may ask for evidence of your term-time and vacation dates.

You can provide:

University term and semester dates
Evidence of vacation periods to employers
