What is personal tutoring?

Every Herts student is assigned a personal tutor.

  • Your tutor is your main point of contact for your school, programme, and wider University.
  • They’ll guide you on what’s expected and help you find opportunities to make the most of your time here.

How do I find my personal tutor?

You will receive an email with your personal tutor's details when you start your course.

If you're not sure who your personal tutor is, contact your Programme Leader.

What can my personal tutor help with?

Your personal tutor can support you with:

  • Settling into university life
  • Developing effective study habits
  • Discussing your academic progress
  • Setting academic goals
  • Planning your personal and professional development
  • Preparing for life after graduation

My Learning Dashboard (StudyNet)

Use your My Learning Dashboard to:
