How do I find my vacation dates?

  1. Find your School and course in the lists below.
  2. Choose the document that matches when you started your course:
    • Semester A (September start)
    • Semester B (January start)
  3. Open the document to view your term and vacation dates.

Not sure which School your course belongs to?

Search for your course on the University website and download the programme specification. This will show which School delivers your course.

Need to prove your vacation dates to an employer?

Important

Your student status letter may show a different start date from the vacation date documents. If this happens, use your student status letter as proof of when you started your studies.

Verification of documents

We cannot stamp or sign student status letters or vacation date documents.

If an organisation needs to verify your documents, they can contact us through the Ask Herts contact form. You can also request an express student status letter, which is usually available within 15 minutes.

Do not alter or edit these documents. Any suspected amendments may be investigated under the University's Student Discipline Procedure.
