Our trained staff provide advice and support for:
- Feeling unwell
- Health advice: diet, smoking, alcohol
- Contraception
- Chlamydia screening
- Travel advice & vaccinations

How to register
We recommend students living away from home in Hatfield register with the UH Medical Centre in the Hutton Hub, College Lane.
Choose your registration form:
✅ We can register all UH students living in Hatfield.
⚠️ Students living elsewhere may face restrictions:
- No home visits
- Limited urgent/out-of-hours care
- Some community services unavailable (e.g., midwife, physiotherapy, mental health support)
We recommend registering locally if you are:
- Pregnant
- Have significant mental illness
- Have children under 16
- Need community services

Sick Notes /certificates:
- Employees need a fit note after 7 days off
- University students can self-certify for ≤7 days
- Download UH self-certification form

- Collected via reception or online form
