Feeling anxious

Find out how you can get help and who you can talk to.

Everyone feels anxious at some point in their life. It’s a normal emotional response to; feeling out of control, under too much pressure (from ourselves, other people or a situation), feeling there is too much too deal with in one go, or after an upsetting situation or trauma.

You might find yourself worrying about things from the past, the future, your current situation,  your relationships, your studies – or even about being anxious! It’s not unusual to have lots of ‘what if..’ thoughts and to fear the worst, but there is a lot of help available at UH.
