We're here to help you work through any mental health difficulties, no matter whether they relate to your academic or your personal life.
Have you ever felt stressed, anxious, worried, lonely, or as if you don't fit in? Are your challenges impacting your academic achievements? Most people would answer those questions openly with a 'yes' - these are all normal experiences in the complexity of life and the pressures we live in.
But what if those questions were changed? Would your answer be different, open, and honest?
Have you ever felt depressed? Paranoid? Heard voices? Have you struggled with eating or been too anxious to leave the house? Have you felt the need to harm yourself? Are these impacting on your academic achievements?
Many people are more apprehensive in openly answering those questions, because it doesn't always feel safe to be honest about those experiences. Sometimes these issues can impact on your academic goals, so the University's Mental Health & Therapeutic Support team is here to support you.
